New features
- Lookup understands short forms: Speech-to-text loves to drop apostrophes — transcripts say "theyre", "dont". Look one up and ED now resolves the word's true identity: the dictionary box shows they're, with real human recordings in both British and American voices, plus a "short form of they are" line. And it's no lazy listing: what's can be what is or what has — the AI reads the sentence you're hearing and names the one actually used. Guessed IPA for "theyre" is yesterday's problem.
Smarter lookup — short forms, phrases, save the whole chunk - See the word — and the phrase around it: Look up "fired" in they're going to be fired up… and the box adds: this word lives in the phrase fire up. Hit save and the dialog pre-selects the whole phrase "fired up" from the sentence — your notebook gets the unit worth learning, not a word stripped of its context. Just want the single word? Improvements
- One meaning across all three levels: the same word in the same sentence now gets the same meaning whether you're on Fluent, Natural or Steady.
